These links provide the required documents and instructions for formatting masters theses and PhD dissertations for the School of Medicine.  Instructional classes on using the formatting template are taught in the LRC on a quarterly basis. Resources for the Graduate School of Nursing and Postgraduate Dental College will be updated soon.

The LRC's reference department can assist all USU students with dissertations and theses. Services include:

  • Crafting personalized searches of biomedical literature and advising on search strategies and results management
  • How to format bibliographies using EndNote
  • Assistance using the template.

Checklist for Submitting a Dissertation or Thesis to the LRC

The LRC will post a copy of each dissertation or thesis online which is submitted to us. Each school at USU has a single point of contact who provides the LRC Archives with the documents to be shared online.

In order to share a dissertation or thesis online, the LRC requires the following documents:

  • A PDF of the final, approved version of the dissertation or thesis
  • Copyright statement, signed
  • Dissertation Committee/Thesis Committee signature page, signed
  • USU Disclosure statement
