PubMed is still a recommended resource for locating journal articles, even if you wish to narrow or limit to articles within the field of psychology/psychiatry. MeSH
PubMed contains some psychology topics, although psychology is not the focus of the database. For the best results, when searching PubMed, use Medical Subject headings (MeSH). To view a listing of psychology MeSH terms, click here.
Subheadings
Subheadings allow a searcher to focus on only the psychology aspects of a given term (see below). To limit your search to a specific MeSH term and use the "psychology" subheading, change PubMed to MeSH, enter your search term and click Search. Note: You can also access the MeSH database from More Resources on PubMed's homepage.
